Swansea Council recently declared a climate emergency.
We call for the council to now
ACT like we are in an emergency!!
Swansea Council Pension Fund still have
over £130 million invested in fossil fuels 🙁
They have committed to 50% divestment within 4 years.
This is not enough!
We call for
100% divestment
within 12 months.
Fossil fuel investments are immoral and returns will go down.
Low carbon investments are proven to be good investments.
Global Banks, led by JPMorgan Chase, invested
$1.9 trillion in fossil fuels since the Paris Climate Pact.
We call for ALL investments to be
moved AWAY from fossil fuel supporting banks.
